clinic day 2
Nov. 5th, 2007 08:57 pmQuick summary, because I'm really tired and this has been like the longest day, ever (except for the childbirth thing, that day was longer).
*Sit lighter and use more lower leg when horsie wants to come up above the bit*
*use lower leg (ie, banging heels) to make the hind legs quicker in our downward transitions*
*recommended shoes for the hind feet to give support, because he said Trudi steps sooo far under at the canter*
*loud hay truck and distracting horses in the pasture were, in fact, distracting, but horsie was still at least manageable, so smiley face for you, Trudi ^_^*
*Bent said we were good*
Yay!
