So I have a voice mail today (hooray, a callback!). Shipper says "I sent the horses out this morning. Then the truck had some problems and so they brought the horses back and the truck is in the shop".
Yeah.
Feb 20th- The first delay was "We had body damage to the truck in Vegas, we're getting the damage repaired- it's at the welders."
Feb 23rd- The second one (AFTER they picked my horse up from the people I bought her from and took her to the shipper's farm) "One of the horses on the shipment has expired papers. Don't worry, your papers expire March 2nd, we'll leave by then." I ask why they can't just leave the other horse there and ship mine. Oh no, that would cost too much, besides it would tick off the people shipping the other horse, and that's their main client- they can't afford to upset them.
March 2nd- "Um, your horse's papers expired. I'm having my neighborhood vet re do them." (at least she faxed me a copy of the new papers today).
Which brings me to today and its excuse.

I bought my horse on Feb 5th. It's March 6th. Wonder if I'll have her by April? I *wish* I was joking...
