Jun. 29th, 2008 09:40 pmFrom Saturday's lesson- sit on my left seatbone. REALLY.
Also- My shoulders are my horse's shoulders, my hips are my horse's hips.
From tonight- I am way easier on us when I ride on my own than during a lesson. Did some counterbending on the circles and straightaways during the canter- helped. Also worked on bringing pony's shoulders in during the "up" part of the canter. Had some good stuff tonight. We chased 2 rabbits. I'm hoping to change Trudi's mindset so that she feels confident chasing things instead of being chased BY them, but I dunno if hunting wabbits is the way to do it. I figure it won't hurt.
