Good lesson Saturday- Lesson was good- she is still in her more tranquil shedding state. We are working on sloooowing things down and I feel like she is close to accepting it and figuring something out. It's very hard work though. Trainer was quite pleased with us and did a good job of pushing me but then giving me a break before I was past my limit, and with her help I did a better job of catching and correcting things before they turned into a mess that would take several circles to fix. Canter was a necessary broken record along the lines of "slow her with your back, step to the right, relax your knee, stretch your leg down, slow her.." When Trudi actually accepted a slower tempo and came through at the trot, I was able to sit centered and relaxed and trainer was like "WTF is this good seat, you are sitting the trot very well...?" and I was like well, yes, I know how, I just can't do it most of the time especially when my horse is like YAYAYAYA FASTER WHATZ THAT IM TENSE YAYAYAYA WHEEE.
