Show summary

We did 3 tests, scratched 2 (early morning), got eliminated once, and got 2 ribbons, (a 5th and a 6th). Scores will likely go up in the future. ;) Trudi looked pretty and behaved well for a silly green horse - braving 8 flower boxes, 5 flapping flags, 3 water sprayers, 2 green tractors carrying 12' bouncing sections of fence, a trailer making snow cones, a bulldozer, a bicycle, a stroller, and a partridge in a pear tree.

Some funny pictures-

Wow, GO is right! Sheesh, she looks like a younger, trimmer Brentina there! (Too bad it's not exactly what they're looking for in Training Level, eh?)

Was that at CO Horse Park, is that the name of it? Where the NAJYRC was held this year?

Yes, the Colorado Horse Park. It used to be called High Prarie. I think they did do NAJYRC there this year- I just didn't get to see any of it.

Good for you! I have so much sympathy for what it takes to get a green horse around a show ring (or, in my case IN.) If you have been reading my blog you know how my Baby has had the terror of the arena/judge/flapping tent/baby stroller/ you name it! It sounds like you got off to a fine start- and every show will get better! She is so pretty too (I have a soft spot for chestnuts.)

Heh, it's very hard with a greenie. She was better than I expected- I need to work a lot more on me, but it was great exposure for her and a positive experience. I think she is pretty too. :)
