Psst, your html is broken somewhere.

LOL at the first photo. It sucks not having someone around who knows when to snap (and who's actually interested in riding photos, haha). This was Trudi's first show, right? Which one of the CHP shows was it?

Whoops- I shouldn't post before bed. I was missing a tag and some quotes...
It was the Paragon show- yep, Trudi's first, and my first in 15 years. Gah, I'm old.
I don't actually mind the pictures of the grandkid- he's my son, after all. But it doesn't make for very good horse photography. :)

Oh geez, ya gotta love grandparents!

Cute kid! And that chestnut mare in the background is pretty nice, too...

Haha, she reminds me SO much of a horse at my barn called Malibu. Elegant horse, but then when something peaked his interest he got into his "swan neck mode" and no amount of cajoling would get him to REALLY lower his neck ;P
you guys look gorggeous together, as usual.
were you pleased?

Thanks! It's good to know we CAN look elegant. I think Trudi looks young again in the photos though, which is funny because I thought she was looking so mature this year- but I think she gets her babyface back when she's braided. :)

Yep, that's pretty much the ongoing struggle with Trudi- getting her to lower her neck to connect her back. As soon as her attention wanders, up goes the neck.
Thanks for the compliments- I am very pleased with her and the fact that the judges (mostly) liked her movement. I'm annoyed with myself for not sitting/riding better, but I'm proud of myself for actually going out and riding some tests, especially considering how nervous and worried I was.
