Hee, after wandering the internet for a while I find myself wanting to buy a Rubenstein offspring... ;)
Not that I can, you know, afford another horse. Or even afford one with that in its pedigree. But if I could I think I'd be tempted. :D

The internet is a dangerous place, man. I've been drooling over Sir Sinclair for ages. Will probably never act on it--wouldn't turn a baby down if I stumbled on the right one (and had $$$), but if I were breeding, I'd want something with more jump than it sounds like he has--but I loff him, I loff him, I do.

Sir Sinclair is great! We've had several from the same breeding farm, out of different marelines. Our just-aged-out-YR bought a Sir Sinclair/Jazz gelding as a 2yo and he's just spectacular; he's coming 5 now. Really, really pretty and a good size. I think he's right at 16hh.

Trainer's 18.1hh behemoth, "Tiny," is by Rubin Royal, who is by Rubinstein. The trends with the Rubinstein line are rideability, tractability, wonderful temperaments, and they take foorrreeever to mature. Tiny exemplifies all of those characteristics.
