OMG so WINDY last night. I honestly thought the barn might blow over once or twice, it was like hurricane gusts. Trudi did not like the wind but was really sluggish overall- I think she got her vaccinations earlier in the day and that's probably why- she didn't really want to work at the walk- she was kinda ploddy and hanging on the bit rather than bringing her back up- we did a little trot and actually a lot of canter- I'm thinking I want to do more canter more of the time to see if we can improve relaxation, pace, and balance. I think both of us need to get stronger and more comfortable with it. Overall not a bad ride- she ended up doing some nice trot at the end although she lacked a bit of oomph. :)
